The Tt Nguyn n, or Lunar New Year, is the most important holiday in Vietnam. It is a time for families to come together and celebrate the new year. In 2025, Tt Nguyn n will begin on February 11th and end on February 13th.
During Tt, Vietnamese people often decorate their homes with red lanterns and lucky charms. They also prepare special foods, such as bnh chng (sticky rice cake) and tht kho tu (caramelized pork belly). On the first day of Tt, people often visit their relatives and friends to wish them a happy new year.
