The Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets football team will begin its 2025 season on September 6th with a home game against the Northern Illinois Huskies. The Yellow Jackets will then travel to Clemson to take on the Tigers on September 13th. GT will have their bye week on October 4th before hosting the Virginia Tech Hokies on October 11th. The Yellow Jackets will then travel to Pittsburgh to take on the Panthers on October 18th. GT will host the Duke Blue Devils on October 25th and the North Carolina Tar Heels on November 1st. The Yellow Jackets will then travel to Wake Forest to take on the Demon Deacons on November 8th. GT will host the Virginia Cavaliers on November 15th and the Georgia Bulldogs on November 22nd. The Yellow Jackets will finish their regular season on November 29th with a game against the rival Georgia State Panthers.
The 2025 football season will be the Yellow Jackets’ first under new head coach Brent Key. Key was promoted to head coach after serving as the interim head coach for the final four games of the 2022 season. Key has a lot of experience coaching at the college level. He was the offensive coordinator at Appalachian State from 2019 to 2021 and was the wide receivers coach at Georgia Tech from 2013 to 2018.
